Welcome! I’m Amie.
As a coach, writer, and facilitator, my mission is to support people - including myself - in healing and transforming themselves, their lives, and the worlds we share. My work lives at the intersections of spiritual ecology, ritual, integral feminist education, and decolonizing human-water relationships.
My greatest passion is writing and I’m thrilled you might read some of it. I hope you enjoy!
Water World
You can find me on Substack at Water World. I write about, think about, be about water.
I write to inspire myself and others to deeply reconsider how we relate to waters, what we believe about waters, and what they can teach us about ourselves and each other. My essays bridge my personal experiences with cultural, spiritual, and political themes. They often include self-reflection questions because the personal is political. Join me!

what people say about writing with me
“Amie is so skilled at what she does. She is a great space holder too. I really appreciate her concentrated attention and insightful comments on my writing.”
“Amie listened carefully and was able to reflect back to me what she saw as the main points I was seeking to convey in my thesis and therefore identified with me the main subtopics for research.”
“Amie helped confirm my ideas for a current paper. She also gave me some perspective on how to develop relationships with the professors to see eventually who might want to chair my dissertation committee.”
“Amie is excellent. She is very attentive during our sessions and extremely helpful.”
“"I have appreciated Amie’s insightful help last year and this year. She is amazing.”
“Amie reminded me that we are growing from being a student to being a scholar to being a colleague. Even though I find my thoughts often echoed in the articles I read, I tend to forget that I can be a colleague and not just stuck in the student stage forever.”
